Whataburger to Open its First Restaurant in Greenville Next Week

Greenville, South Carolina, brace yourselves as Whataburger announces the grand opening of their first ever restaurant in the city. The Texas-based fast food chain, popularly known for its signature hamburgers, is all set to make its debut in Greenville on Monday, July 29.

About the Opening

The first Whataburger establishment in Greenville will be located at 1466 Woodruff Road. The culinary chain has decided to celebrate its inauguration with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. For safety precautions, during the initial few weeks, only its drive-thru services will be operated.

Growth in South Carolina

Following the successful launch in Boiling Springs, this would be the second Whataburger site in South Carolina. The burger giant has planned an ambitious expansion across the Upstate area by 2025, with seven more locations set to open by the end of 2024 in locations such as Irmo, Mauldin, Anderson, Spartanburg, Columbia, Lexington, Easley, and Duncan.

For first-timers at Whataburger, the menu boasts a wide range of selection. The most popular meal is the Whatameal which includes a mouthwatering burger, fries or onion rings, and a refreshing soft drink. The Buffalo ranch chicken strip sandwich is the most popular sandwich, with the Honey butter chicken biscuit touted as the top breakfast pick. Enhanced by condiments like Fancy ketchup and Spicy ketchup, their offerings are sure to tickle your tastebuds.
