Exciting Holiday Cheer Awaits at the Village Christmas Market in West Greenville!

Hey there, West Greenville! Are you ready to get into the holiday spirit? This year, the inaugural Village Christmas Market is set to kick off on November 28 and will continue through Christmas Eve. If you love all things festive, you won’t want to miss this special event!

Location and Coordination

The market will be buzzing at the future site of the Woven development at the intersections of Pendleton, Traction, and Lois streets. The mastermind behind this delightful event is none other than Sebastian Carter, who owns The Rabbit Hole, located at 1268 Pendleton St.. Sebastian is working alongside Grandaddy’s Christmas Trees and Woodfield Development to make sure everything goes off without a hitch!

Crafts, Snacks, and Live Music Galore!

One of the best parts of this market is that it aims to support local artisans, craftspeople, and musicians, especially those whose businesses have faced tough times due to Hurricane Helene. Currently, the market is on the hunt for additional craft vendors to showcase their creations. Are you a snack vendor? They’d love to have you join the fun too, particularly if you can whip up some mouth-watering holiday-related bites like Christmas cookies! And what’s a market without some festive tunes? They are also looking for local bands to come and perform live music throughout the event.

A Chance to Help and Spread Cheer

Here’s a heartwarming twist—Grandaddy’s Christmas Trees isn’t just bringing holiday cheer to the market; they’re also dedicated to doing good! A portion of all Christmas tree sales will go to charities that provide aid to those in need in western North Carolina. Plus, they’ll be donating some beautiful Christmas trees to decorate the village, including a stunning 16-foot tree for the plaza! How wonderful is that?

Market Hours—Don’t Miss Out!

The Village Christmas Market will be open during the following hours:

  • Tuesdays through Thursdays: from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Fridays and Saturdays: from noon to 9:30 p.m.

Make sure you mark your calendars, gather your loved ones, and head over to enjoy this festive gathering!

Get Involved!

Are you interested in being part of the magic? Whether you’re a vendor or a performer, don’t hesitate to reach out! Interested parties are encouraged to contact Sebastian Carter directly at events@gvlvillagemarket.com. Join in, and let’s keep the holiday spirit alive in our community!

Wrap Up

The inaugural Village Christmas Market promises to be a wonderful celebration of community, creativity, and holiday cheer. Let’s come together to support our local artisans and enjoy some festive fun in West Greenville. Can’t wait to see you all there!
