Programming ends at Greer’s Victor Gym and ball field

After years of memories made, programming run by Greer’s Parks, Recreation, and Tourism (PRT) Department at Victor Gym and Victor ball field came to an end on Monday, June 3. In their monthly March 2024 report, the department announced that while it would end programming on the third, the outdoor basketball courts will stay open.

The City plans to keep the courts open as long as possible, until the goals are dismantled. A date for the official closure of the courts will be announced later. Greer PRT hopes to have all equipment removed and relocated to other facilities by June 27. Programming has ended and they still hope to have the equipment removed before the end of the month.
