GREENVILLE- The lively political climate within Greenville was particularly evident on Tuesday afternoon, as Donald Trump, the former President, was present for a town hall event. The event, which was pre-taped, was hosted on renowned television host Laura Ingraham’s show “The Ingraham Angle.”
A wide array of topics was discussed during this one-hour interview, located at the Greenville Convention Center. The discussion primarily focused on the foreign and domestic policy changes that America is currently facing, and what potential solutions may be. Furthermore, Trump’s legal battles, his potential vice-presidential pick, and the shift of minority votes during the previous election were also discussed.
An animated Trump spoke candidly about his thoughts on these matters. Central to the conversation was the South Carolina primary and his race against Nikki Haley. He also expressed his opinions about Joe Biden, current U.S. President, foreseeing a possible face-off in the upcoming election should he emerge victorious in the Republican Primary.

Prior to the event, Trump made his arrival at Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport at approximately 1:45 p.m. This was followed by the closure of I-85 South near Pelham Road due to Trump’s motorcade. Regular traffic movement was restored around 2:30 p.m.
The town hall event provided an opportunity for the public and supporters alike to listen to the former President’s views on current pressing issues and speculate on his future political career.
