Greenville Triumph Partners on New Taproom at Greenville-Spartanburg Airport

The Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) and the Greenville Triumph professional soccer team have partnered to open a new restaurant and taproom, Triumph Taproom. The new dining establishment marks the second soccer-themed restaurant and bar in a North American airport, following City Pub at Orlando International Airport.

A Unique Dining Concept

Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport’s CEO and president, Dave Edwards, expressed his excitement over the partnership with Greenville Triumph. “This concept is the result of over a year of planning and we are confident that residents and visitors alike will revel in the opportunity to celebrate the region’s passion for the beautiful game,” Edwards said.

The Triumph Taproom is a culmination of a partnership that began on the soccer field and now extends into the culinary terrain. The restaurant will offer a selection of hearty dishes, game-time favorites, accompanied by a variety of craft beers including local favorites from Thomas Creek Brewery.

Expanding The Brand

Doug Erwin, vice chairman and chief brand officer of the Greenville Triumph and Liberty, is eager for the partnership to bring the brand culture to a new demographic. “GSP is the gateway to the Upstate, and it’s very exciting for us to expand our partnership with GSP in such a visible way,” Erwin stated.

The Triumph Taproom will be operated in conjunction with Metz Culinary Management, a firm that also operates three other GSP restaurants—The Kitchen by Wolfgang Puck, RJ Rockers Flight Room, and Chick-fil-A.

Location and Operating Hours

Triumph Taproom is located post-security on Concourse A and will be open to patrons seven days a week from 4:30 a.m. until the last flight departure.

This exciting new partnership serves as an example of the innovative ways in which businesses can function together to provide a unique and enjoyable experience for customers. It also highlights the growing popularity of soccer in the United States and the ways in which this sport is becoming integrated into various aspects of society.

With Triumph Taproom, Greenville Triumph and Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport present an opportune chance to combine the thrills of sport, culinary explorations, and the excitement of travel into one incredible experience.
