As Christmas nears, life can get a bit hectic, especially here in Greenville. Between shopping, wrapping presents, and decorating the house, there’s hardly any time left to whip up those traditional holiday meals! Thankfully, our local culinary champions have your back. This December, five fantastic restaurants and chefs in the Upstate are offering take-home meal options to make your celebrations easier while still tasting like home.
First up is the renowned Table 301. They have come out with their fantastic Holiday Feast “To Go” menu designed to feed around eight guests. It’s your chance to impress family and friends with a scrumptious meal without lifting a finger! You can pick from a variety of entrées, priced between $280 to $360, including braised beef short ribs, tenderloin, salmon, turkey breast, pork loin, and even Beef Wellington! Talk about fancy!
On the side, you’ll find delicious options like focaccia, garden salads, mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, broccolini, and some extra options to customize your feast just how you want it. Plus, they have breakfast frittatas and an entire dessert menu to satisfy your sweet tooth. Remember to place your orders by 2 p.m. on December 16, and pick-up is available from December 20 to 23. Don’t miss out!
Tania Cienfuegos Harris, a local culinary star and nominee of the James Beard Award, is also stepping in to provide a holiday meal that’s sure to wow your guests. Her special take-home menu includes options like focaccia, a vibrant winter salad, Caribbean-style jerk pork, and even coconut rice—deliciously tropical! This delightful package is priced at $320 and can serve four to six people. Excitingly, her meals are also available for delivery in downtown Greenville, making it even easier to enjoy her culinary creations!
If you’re after something with a Southern flair, look no further than Rocky’s Hot Chicken Shack. Their take-home meal includes a mouthwatering selection of appetizers like pimento cheese dip and deviled eggs with candied bacon. And the side dishes? Wow! You could enjoy collard greens, potato salad, corn pudding, Green beans, mac and cheese, sweet potato casserole, and even mashed potatoes with gravy!
To top it all off, you can’t miss their famous Coca-Cola Cake or a choice of banana, butterscotch, or chocolate pudding for dessert. This is comfort food at its finest!
Craving Italian? Indaco has got a special treat for you. They’re offering a to-go version of their annual “Feast of the Seven Fishes Dinner,” featuring to-die-for Bolognese or Spinach, Artichoke, and Mushroom Lasagna. Perfect for 10-12 people, it’s priced at $150. They even have a charming addition of Gingerbread Tiramisu for dessert! If you wish to create memories in their restaurant, there’s also a family-style dinner set for December 23!
Finally, don’t forget about Miss Lillian’s Louisiana Pie Spices. For anyone looking to bring a slice of the South to their holiday table without too much effort, her pre-made pie mixes are the perfect solution. They’re versatile enough for fruit, pumpkin pie dishes, and even bread! With her Louisiana and Texas roots, these mixes will surely satisfy during this festive season.
