The dynamic city of Greenville witnessed an exquisite display of theatrical talent on August 20, 2024, at the Greenville Theatre during the inaugural performance of Sync for Survivors, a lip sync battle charity event. This outstanding event centered on raising funds for the lifeline organization, Cancer Survivors Park, and proved to be a resounding success.
Local Celebrities Perform for a Cause
Raising the heat were a whopping twenty captivating personalities from Upstate, split into teams. Their chosen songs ranged from snappy pop numbers to tender ballads, as they successfully graced the stage with their mesmerizing dance and lip sync performances. These electrifying shows were choreographed by the top-tier mentors at The Shock Dance Center in Mauldin.
Charity Event Raises Significant Funds
This charitable endeavor struck a chord with all in attendance and beyond, as it raised an awe-inspiring total of $200,000 for the Cancer Survivors Park. The funds were aimed at contributing towards providing high quality care, compassionate support and empowering services to people affected by cancer.

Among the groups displaying their flair on stage were The Hydro-Matics, a vivacious team known for their synchronized dance and lip sync harmony. Their performance was one of the highlights of the event.
Also stealing the show were Liz Seman and Tracy Nickles from Bill’s Bells, whose fiery performance left the audience clapping in joy. Their energy was infectious, proving them to be crowd favorites.
An absolute delight came from The Mud Brothers and Elizabeth Perkins, whose distinct choreography and seamless lip-syncing turned heads and raised cheers.
