Deputies investigating after suspect refuses to come out of Greenville Co. home

The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office said it is investigating a disturbance that took place overnight.

Disturbance on Old Buncombe Road

According to the sheriff’s office, deputies were called to Old Buncombe Road just after midnight on Friday about a disturbance where a man assaulted, pointed and presented a gun at another man.

Suspect Refuses to Cooperate

Deputies said the suspect was not cooperating with the investigation and was refusing to come out of his home.

Standoff Ends with Arrest

As of 9 a.m., deputies said the suspect gave himself up and was taken into custody.

Additional Incident Reported

In another incident, police located a couple who were wanted after taking drugs with a child unrestrained in their car.
