Greenville Gala to Celebrate Award-Winning Sum Bar Documentary
Greenville will soon be hosting a gala to celebrate the award-winning documentary “Great Wall,” which tells the story of Khailing Neoh, the owner of Sum Bar, Greenville’s first dim sum restaurant. The documentary, produced by Rioin Oshiro of Undercurrent Film Community, recently received the prestigious James Beard Media Award.

The Great Wall Gala, organized by Mill Village Ministries in partnership with Undercurrent Film Community and Sum Bar, will take place at the Greenville ONE Center on August 22 at 6 p.m. The evening will feature welcome champagne, hors d’oeuvres, a photo booth, a silent auction, and a screening of the award-winning documentary “Great Wall.”
