Greenville Set to Host Christmassacre: A Spooky Holiday Celebration from December 13-15

Get Ready for the Spookiest Christmas Celebration in Greenville!

If you thought the only time to enjoy thrills and chills was in October, think again! This December, Greenville is gearing up for a haunter of an event that merges Halloween fun with the joy of the holiday season. Christmassacre, hosted by the engaging team of Hauntfest, is all set to launch from December 13 through December 15, right outside the Nightmare Dungeon Haunted Attraction at 645 Old Anderson Road.

A Weekend of Fun and Frights Awaits

This fantastic three-day outdoor extravaganza kicks off each day at 2 p.m. and runs until midnight. You can expect a cornucopia of activities designed to cater to both die-hard Halloween fans and families looking for a festive adventure. Roseann Harpold, the creative brain behind Hauntfest, describes the event as “a Renaissance Faire with a spooky twist.” Sounds fun, right?

What’s in Store at Christmassacre?

Between the spooks, there’ll be plenty of engaging and unusual activities. Visitors can immerse themselves in a world of live music, fire performances, and vendors selling all sorts of macabre and horror-themed art. Have you ever wondered what a Halloween-themed scarf would look like? Now’s your chance to find out! And for those who love to bring out their inner creeper, there’s axe throwing and costume contests for both adults and kids!

Kids can look forward to specific Sunday activities that make the day more family-friendly. Roseann notes that on Sundays, “the ghouls won’t come out until after 6 p.m. and when they do, they will be less scary and more kid-friendly.” Past pumpkin painting, scavenger hunts, and the chance to go trick-or-treating, there’s also a mini monster contest for the little ones. What a way to cap off the weekend!

Everyone’s Invited!

Whether you’re planning a fun outing with friends or looking to create treasured family memories, there’s something for everyone. Fridays and Saturdays are particularly catered to adults, with live music and entertainment that is sure to get lively, while Sundays are quieter, perfect for families and their little monsters. Harpold says, “Any kids that may want to come and enjoy the activities will find Sunday great for that.”

Ticket Information

Thinking about attending? Well, tickets are not only limited but also reasonably priced! Advance admission is set at $20 per day. You can snag a better deal if you plan for more than one day — it’s $35 for any two days or $50 for the whole shebang! If you aim to buy tickets at the door, be aware that they will cost you $25 per day. So, if you’re serious about enjoying this spooky festive event, be sure to get your tickets early!
