Spartanburg Police announced road closures due to unsafe conditions on Saturday. According to police, the roads are located on both northbound lanes of South Church Street (US 221). Both lanes of inbound traffic coming into the city are closed.

Police said drivers can turn right onto League Street then left onto Logan Street and come back up Bomar Avenue to South Church Street until the road can be more thoroughly inspected.

Since both northbound lanes of South Church Street are closed, drivers are advised to take the alternative route through League Street, Logan Street, and Bomar Avenue to access South Church Street.
