Zych brings 30 years of experience in the banking industry to his new role, having most recently served as director of corporate development and investor relations at United Community Bank.
In his previous role, Zych played an integral part in developing investor relationships and promoting United Community Bank’s growth and consistent performance. This experience will be valuable as he joins Southern First Bank and helps to tell the unique story of the bank’s organic growth and success.

Zych holds an MBA from Wake Forest University School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in finance from Bentley University. He is excited about joining Southern First Bank and contributing to the bank’s mission of improving the lives of its clients and making a positive impact in the community.
