GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C.

SLED confirms heavy law enforcement presence connected to missing inmate

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) confirmed a search on Wednesday night was connected to the missing inmate from Tennessee.

According to dispatch officials, Greenville County deputies were responding to the Walmart area along White Horse Road.

Officials believe escaped inmate last seen in Greenville Co. could be connected to missing man

Dispatch officials stated that details are limited as deputies search for the suspect. Stay with us as we work to learn more.

The sheriff’s office said all law enforcement agencies are following any and all leads that come in regarding the escaped prisoner, however, no tips suggesting the escaped inmates sighting have been substantiated.

Officials are reminding residents to do not approach the inmate and call law enforcement if they see him.
