Simpsonville Preparations Underway for the Return of the Night of Lights!

Simpsonville Gets Ready to Shine: Night of Lights Returns!

As the holiday season fast approaches, the charming city of Simpsonville is getting a sparkling makeover! The much-loved Night of Lights at Heritage Park is back for a fabulous second year, and it’s set to dazzle families and friends alike from November 22 through January 3. With twinkling lights and festive vibes, this event is not to be missed!

What’s All the Buzz About?

Night of Lights, a family-owned gem, is designed to bring joy and holiday spirit to everyone who wanders through its enchanting displays. Michael Richardson, one of the event’s creators, shared, “Spreading Christmas cheer is our prime motivation, and we hope that every person can experience the true reason for the season.” Whether you’re a first-time visitor or returning for more holiday magic, there’s plenty to look forward to this year!

Light Up Your Holidays!

Prepare yourselves for a sensory overload with over 200 LED light displays and a mesmerizing quarter-mile trail of lights! With a staggering one billion combinations of colors, patterns, and sequences, it’s nothing short of spectacular. Be on the lookout for eye-catching highlights, such as a stunning 65-foot-tall animated Christmas tree that will take center stage at the amphitheater and a unique walk-through igloo that promises an immersive experience.

A Wonderland of Fun!

The fun doesn’t stop at the lights! Families can enjoy an array of attractions, including exhilarating carnival rides, a bouncy house that will keep the kids giggling, an ice-skating rink for those wobbly winter moments, and even a petting zoo where little ones can connect with adorable animals. And here’s the best part: Photos with Santa will be available to make sure those cherished Christmas memories are captured! Visit Santa every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. until December 22.

Meet Your Favorite Characters!

New this year, kid-favorites like Anna, Elsa, the Grinch, and Cindy Lou Who will be making special appearances throughout the event. Kids and adults, alike, can revel in the joy of meeting these beloved characters, adding a sprinkle of magic to your holiday outing!

Discounts and Giving Back

What’s Christmas without a little generosity? Discounts on admission will be available for senior citizens, military members, first responders, and teachers on select days. Additionally, guests can enjoy free entry on Mondays by bringing non-perishable food donations to support local food banks—five items grant one free admission. Tuesdays are special too, as donations for Toys for Tots and the Greenville Humane Society will also allow for complimentary entry!

When and Where?

Night of Lights is hosted at the stunning CCNB Amphitheater at Heritage Park, located at 861 SE Main Street in Simpsonville. You can wander through the twinkling lights from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays, and from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. It’s open to the public every single day, including holidays, so there’s plenty of time to gather your loved ones and soak in the holiday spirit!
