Simpsonville Arts Center to Host Two Exceptional Photography Exhibitions

On the charming avenues of Simpsonville, South Carolina lies the enrichment hub for appreciators of artistry – the Simpsonville Arts Center. This summer, it opens its doors to all who fancy the magic of the lens archive, Nathan DePue, and nature shooter, Heather Patel. Together these two acclaimed artists will present a stunning display of visuals for people to explore and relish.

Scheduled to open on July 19, the two exhibits allow visitors an opportunity to delve into the starkly different yet equally fascinating realms of DePue’s and Patel’s visual artistry. Their exhibits will be on display at the Arts Center, located at 110 Academy St. in Simpsonville, through August 13.

Heather Patel’s “Catalyst Channels & Pathways”

Patel’s collection contains more than 18 intricate displays, demonstrating Patel’s love and understanding for nature’s intricate designs. Her exhibit is jointly supported by the Metropolitan Arts Council and received funds from organizations and institutions such as the City of Greenville, BMW Manufacturing Co., SEW Eurodrive, as well as the South Carolina Arts Commission.

Nathan DePue’s “Beach City Baby”

Nathan DePue’s compilation is an amalgamation of 10 to 12 visuals focusing on a variety of subjects ranging from picturesque landscapes to intricate airborne machinery. His collection reflects his versatility as a photographer and his affiliation for distinct themes.

Opening Reception and Public Viewing Schedule

To commemorate the opening of these two remarkable exhibits, the Simpsonville Arts Center will host a reception at 5:30 p.m. on July 19. Art enthusiasts can experience the collections between 1 to 4 p.m. on Wednesdays, or they can schedule an appointment for a personalized visit.
