The intimate ceremony took place inside the chapel of Charleston’s Seacoast Church, with Scott, 58, and Noce, 47, proclaiming their love for each other in front of close friends and family members.
Post-nuptials, the jubilant senator took to his personal social media handle to announce the news. “Tonight, we promised to cherish and nourish each other and our marriage for the rest of our lives,” Scott expressed in his post. “Mindy, you’ve made me the happiest man alive. I love you.”
Scott then quoted a Biblical verse, Matthew 19:6, saying, “So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”
The ceremony was not without a touch of political glamour. A range of dignitaries from the political world graced the event. Notable attendees included former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, Sen. Mindy Noce is an accomplished interior designer residing in South Carolina. Coming from a military family, her father served in the Navy, and her brothers attended military school. This year, she got engaged to Senator Scott after church friends set them up on a pickleball date.
