SCRA welcomes Simpsonville-based MyUI.AI LLC as member company

The South Carolina Research Authority (SCRA) has announced the addition of MyUI.AI LLC as a member company. Based in Simpsonville, MyUI.AI is an information technology startup that specializes in developing customized digital interfaces for people with disabilities.

The cloud-based system created by MyUI.AI leverages artificial intelligence (AI) to adapt the digital interfaces of consumer appliances, kiosks, and compatible Internet of Things devices to meet the specific interaction needs of individuals with disabilities. By using AI algorithms, MyUI.AI aims to enhance the accessibility and usability of these devices for people with disabilities.

In addition to MyUI.AI LLC, SCRA also welcomed SMPL-C Corp. from Mount Pleasant as a member company. SCRA member companies gain access to coaching, expert advice, grant eligibility, and the opportunity to receive investments from SCRA’s investment affiliate, SC Launch.

As part of its support for innovation and entrepreneurship, SCRA awarded a $50,000 acceleration grant to MASDEV LLC, doing business as Custom Donations, based in Florence.
