The South Carolina Research Authority (SCRA), a public, nonprofit corporation that works to fuel the state’s innovation economy, announced on June 4 that it has welcomed MyUI.AI LLC of Simpsonville as a member company. This move will provide MyUI.AI LLC with valuable resources and support to further develop its technology and expand its reach in the market.

MyUI.AI LLC is an information technology startup that focuses on enabling people with disabilities to interact with customized digital interfaces. The company has developed a cloud-based system that leverages artificial intelligence (AI) to adapt the digital interfaces of consumer appliances, kiosks, and nearly any compatible Internet of Things (IoT) device to the specific interaction needs of people with disabilities.

By customizing digital interfaces to suit the needs of individuals with disabilities, MyUI.AI LLC aims to enhance their overall user experience and improve their ability to independently engage with technology. This technology has the potential to significantly improve the quality of life for individuals with disabilities and promote inclusivity in various industries.

The leadership team at MyUI.AI LLC is excited about becoming a member company of SCRA. They believe that this partnership will provide them with access to valuable resources and a supportive network that will help accelerate the development and adoption of their technology.

As a member company, MyUI.AI LLC will receive coaching, access to experts, and grant eligibility from SCRA. They will also have the opportunity to be considered for investment from SCRA’s investment affiliate, SC Launch. These resources and support will enable MyUI.AI LLC to further refine and scale its technology, ultimately bringing it to a wider audience and making a greater impact in the industry.

Alongside MyUI.AI LLC, SCRA also welcomed SMPL-C Corp. of Mount Pleasant as a member company. SMPL-C Corp. is a technology company that specializes in developing innovative solutions for the consumer market. Their expertise lies in creating user-friendly products that simplify and enhance daily life.

Additionally, SCRA awarded a $50,000 acceleration grant to MASDEV LLC, doing business as Custom Donations, of Florence. Custom Donations is a company that focuses on providing customizable fundraising solutions to nonprofit organizations. The grant will support the development and expansion of their platform, allowing them to better assist nonprofits in achieving their fundraising goals.

SCRA is committed to fostering innovation and economic growth in South Carolina. By providing resources, support, and investment opportunities to emerging companies like MyUI.AI LLC and Custom Donations, SCRA aims to contribute to the advancement of industries and promote long-term success.
