Charleston, S.C.: Residents making their way to work on Monday morning will need to plan ahead as the South Carolina Ports Authority declared a postponed opening. The delay will affect all South Carolina Ports’ marine terminals and inland ports until 10 a.m., which may lead to potential traffic problems, particularly during peak travel times.
In response to the late opening, the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) has urged motorists to prepare in advance. The reopening of all terminals is scheduled for 10 a.m. However, given the fluidity of the situation, we urge everyone to frequently check updates and confirmed opening times on scspa.com. SC Ports is also collaborating closely with its vendors to swiftly resume operations, promising to communicate any updates to maritime partners, customers, and members of the community as soon as new information becomes available.”
