Greenville, South Carolina – Bubble Paper, a local entrance into the world of shipping solutions, has received some welcome financial backing. The eco-friendly product producer was recently awarded a $250,000 investment from SC Launch, the influential investment affiliate of the South Carolina Research Authority (SCRA).
The announcement was made on July 23, signifying a significant boost for Bubble Paper, which has made a name for itself by crafting an environmentally-conscious alternative to traditional plastic packaging materials.
In a recent statement, Benjamin Moore, the founder of Bubble Paper, expressed his gratitude to the SCRA and SC Launch Inc., agencies which have been influential in assisting the growth of the business. He said, “We were fortunate to start working with the SCRA and SC Launch Inc. teams early on. They understood our mission and partnered with us to create a friendly and mutually beneficial investment partnership.”
Moore went on to highlight the pivotal role of early investments in the company’s rise, saying, “These early investments were key in helping us innovate and scale our production capability, allowing us to focus on growth and efficiency.”
Bubble Paper’s commitment to sustainability extends to all phases of its operation, from manufacturing to disposal of its products. Moore underscored this commitment, emphasizing, “Our products are sustainable from the moment they are manufactured to the time of disposal.”
The pioneering Greenville Company joined the ranks of SCRA member companies in the year 2018, and since then, it has received a series of investments from SC Launch. The first, a project development fund grant, was valued at $25,000. This was followed by a $50,000 acceleration grant. In addition to these, Bubble Paper received $600,000 from SC Launch, spread across two previous investments.
With the mounting financial support, Bubble Paper is well-positioned to continue its mission of providing an innovative, eco-friendly option to traditional plastic packaging solutions. The latest $250,000 investment from SC Launch strengthens the company’s capacity to expand its innovative and eco-friendly product line and influence the packaging market further.
