Greenville, SC – High school football fans had another thrilling week as the 2024 season continued into Week 10 this past Friday, November 1. A total of over 50 games were played statewide, showcasing some impressive performances.
One of the standout games was Abbeville’s commanding victory over Ware Shoals, finishing with a score of 69-6. This victory highlights Abbeville’s strength as they look forward to the playoffs. Similarly, Pinewood Prep made headlines by defeating John Paul II Catholic with an eye-popping score of 69-21.
In other notable games, Andrew Jackson cruised past Buford, winning 49-7, while Belton-Honea Path shut out Walhalla with a score of 49-0. Dillon also secured a significant victory, overpowering Georgetown with a score of 56-0.
Not every game was a blowout; some were tightly contested. Ashley Ridge narrowly defeated West Ashley with a score of 47-41, showcasing both teams’ offensive capabilities. Meanwhile, Wando edged out Lucy G. Beckham by just three points, finishing 10-7.
