Konduros will helm the Greenville City Economic Development Corporation and brings to the role extensive experience in the economic development field. He previously served as president and CEO of SCBio, the leading advocacy and economic development organization for the state’s life sciences industry. He also served as president and CEO of Upstate SC Alliance, a regional economic development organization focused on the 10 counties of the Upstate.
Konduros will start April 22 and said he plans to focus on making the most out of his first 100 days on the job. He added he is grateful for the opportunity and energized by the city’s continued economic growth and central role in a regional entrepreneurial ecosystem.
GCEDC was created in June 2021 as a 501(c)3 and charged with executing the city’s economic development strategic plan. Key areas of focus will be real estate and property development, small and minority business recruitment, investor relations and marketing, among others.
