In a major relief for domestic abuse survivors in Greenville, Safe Harbor has announced plans for a new shelter. Funding for the project, which includes a shelter and support services space, will come from TD Bank and the TD Community Development Corp. amongst others.
This 45,722 square-foot project will mark a significant increase in Safe Harbor’s annual capacity, from 275 to 375 individuals. A completion date for the construction has been set for April 2025, and it will offer space for partner agencies serving Safe Harbor clients as well.
The Greenville-based marketing and creative agency, Crawford, has welcomed Colton Grace as its Senior Public Relations Account Director. Grace, who excels in public relations strategies, will be working towards enhancing Crawford’s PR capabilities.
With plenty of experience working with national media, Grace has in the past worked as a Press Secretary and advisor for a South Carolina congressman, and as Communications Director for a substance use policy think tank.
Following the launch of its service in Mauldin, WOW! Internet, TV & Phone has donated $10,000 to Rebuild Upstate, a nonprofit organization working towards providing volunteers and materials to repair homes of low-income, elderly and disabled residents.
The donation will contribute towards building a ramp for a Mauldin homeowner. WOW! also plans to make other community investments and aims to foster strong community connections through reliable internet access and customer service.
