Rôtie by Stella’s Opens at Bridgeway Station, Introducing Rotisserie Fine Dining

MAULDIN, SC: The community is abuzz as Stella’s, a renowned restaurant group operating for 16 years in the local food industry, inaugurated its latest culinary endeavor on July 10. The newly opened “Rôtie by Stella’s” takes pride in its rotisserie-prepared meals, offering a unique family-style dining experience to Mauldin’s residents and visitors at the Bridgeway Station, located at 1103 Via Corso Avenue.

Reimagining Fine Dining

Known for its exceptional French and American Southern cuisines, Stella’s has an established reputation built on smoking, grilling, and braising poultry, steaks, and seafood. In this new venture, Julia Schold, the restaurant’s owner, introduces an elevated dining experience that celebrates the amalgamation of Classic French rotisserie techniques and fresh local Southern ingredients.

Turning Culinary Traditions on a Rotisserie

Rôtie provides diners with a novel menu where not only proteins like chicken, duck, pot roast, and pork are slow-roasted to perfection but also side dishes are given a unique touch. They aim to please palettes with flavors seeped from slow-cooked dishes such as mac and cheese with miso and truffle, or cabbage and vegetables roasted at the bottom of the rotisserie to imbue the drippings’ flavor.

Apart from rotating succulent pieces on the fire, Rôtie by Stella’s will also host menu specials cooked in traditional ways, such as fresh fish or steak prepared to order

Celebrating Communal Dining

Conceived to offer a family-style dining format, each starter, or entrée serves two to four people. This innovative culinary approach curated by Stella’s executive chef James King and in-house chef Justin Meadows not only presents a tantalizing array of foods but also enhances the communal dining experience.

A Peek Into the Future

Looking ahead, Julia and her husband are excited to add daily and weekly specials tied to the season’s choicest offerings. The owners plan to liven up their establishment with music on the patio, a new cocktail program, and potential cocktail park that will extend their space to outdoors for adult beverages.

More Delights to Come

Rôtie by Stella’s aims to woo more patrons with its famed Stella’s delicacies and their unique rotisserie concept. Although conceived for at least three years, the concept of the restaurant fits ideally into the Bridgeway Station milieu. The restaurant is still ironing out the kinks of the launch and promises to evolve, adding nuanced facets to its offerings.

Hours of Operation and Further Plans

Currently, the restaurant functions from Tuesday to Saturday, 5-9 p.m., and commences a happy hour starting at 4 p.m., featuring a full cocktail menu and snacks. In addition, Nicole Fitzpatrick, Stella’s marketing lead, revealed that a brunch and Sunday dinner schedule will be released soon.

With their unique approach to fine dining and their commitment to take the customer experience a notch higher, Rôtie by Stella’s is bound to establish itself as a favorite in Mauldin’s bubbling gastronomic scene.
