New Publix Super Market to Open in Mauldin with 140 Associate Jobs

Mauldin, South Carolina – A new grocery store is headed to Mauldin with plans to hire about 140 associates.

Mauldin, a city in Greenville County, South Carolina, is set to welcome a new Publix Super Market in the fall of 2025. The grocer announced on Monday that it has leased space in The Shops at Arden Woods, located at the southeast corner of Fork Shoals and Ashmore Bridge roads.

Charles, the community development director of Mauldin, expressed his excitement over Publix’s decision, saying, “We are proud and excited that Publix has chosen Mauldin for its newest store in The Shops at Arden Woods. As other retailers join the tenant list at The Shops, they will find an eager market in Mauldin to support their businesses. Not only does Publix’s investment meet the area’s grocery needs, but it also represents new jobs that will come as they and other tenants announce their openings.”

The new Publix Super Market in Mauldin will span approximately 48,387 square feet, providing ample space for a wide range of products and services. The store is expected to employ around 140 associates, offering employment opportunities to local residents and contributing to the local economy.

This will be the second Publix location in Mauldin, with the first one situated at 111 W. Butler Road. The upcoming store at The Shops at Arden Woods will be Greenville County’s 12th Publix and the 20th in the Upstate region, reinforcing the brand’s presence and commitment to serving customers in this part of South Carolina.
