Fire at medical building causes relocation of Prisma pediatric appointments

A fire broke out at a medical building in Greenville on April 13, causing the relocation of pediatric appointments at Prisma Health Center.

Building Fire in Greenville

The fire occurred at the Cross Creek Medical Park building in Greenville, where the Prisma Health Center for Pediatric Medicine, Prisma Health Ferlauto Center for Complex Pediatric Care, and a Prisma Health pediatric infusion center are located. The building, situated at 50 Cross Park Court, suffered severe damage due to the fire.

No Injuries Reported

Despite the severity of the blaze, no injuries were reported from the incident. The swift response of emergency services and the quick actions of the medical staff helped to minimize the impact on patient families.

Appointment Relocation

All scheduled pediatric appointments at the affected centers on the day of the fire were relocated to an alternate site, ensuring that patients could still meet with their physicians. Patients with upcoming appointments are being contacted by Prisma Health to arrange alternative locations for their healthcare needs.

Smooth Transition for Patients

Prisma Health is working closely with medical transportation companies to ensure a smooth transition for patients requiring specialized transport to the new locations for their appointments. Patients with any inquiries regarding their appointments are encouraged to contact 864-522-5220.
