Multiple customers are without power in Greenville County, according to Duke Energy. According to the power company, about 2,088 were without power at around 6:25 p.m. As of 10:30 p.m., about 678 customers remain without power.
This comes after the area experienced thunderstorms and hail earlier this evening. The affected areas include those residing in Blakely Avenue, Haywood Crossings Drive, Collins Creek Drive, Carolina Point Parkway, and Station Court.
Officials have stated that power is expected to be restored by 3:15 a.m. on Tuesday. Duke Energy crews are working diligently to address the issue and bring back power to all affected customers.
As the situation unfolds, residents are advised to stay updated with the latest information provided by Duke Energy. In case of emergencies or further assistance, customers can contact the power company directly.
