Open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday, it promises to be the go-to spot for coffee enthusiasts.
Greenville is buzzing with excitement as a brand-new coffee shop has opened its doors on Main Street! Tselia Coffee, located at 219 N. Main St. right between The Comedy Zone and Maren + Main, is ready to welcome coffee enthusiasts and casual visitors alike into its cozy café.
Tselia Coffee is a family-owned gem run by none other than the Langlands family, who made the move from sunny Temecula, California. With a strong love for coffee, this dynamic family is committed to serving up quality brews while focusing on building a warm sense of community right here in downtown Greenville.
Co-owner Matthew Langlands brings his impressive background from his days at The Press Espresso, carrying with him a wealth of experience in coffee roasting. The family takes great pride in not just being a coffee house but also a coffee roaster, allowing them to provide fresh, house-roasted beans straight to your cup! This means that coffee lovers can expect rich and robust flavors in every sip.
Walking into Tselia Coffee, you’re welcomed by a stunning interior that boasts an industrial design accentuated with a unique touch of black and pink decor. You’ll spot large black archways and pink cherry blossom trees that create a mesmerizing atmosphere. The open floor plan includes exposed brick and a striking neon sign proclaiming, “This must be the place.” It’s a warm and inviting space where you can relax and enjoy your coffee.
Along with expertly crafted coffee, Tselia Coffee offers a lineup of tempting pastries and grab-and-go options to meet all your cravings on busy days. From delicious syrups to the finest beans roasted right in-house, there’s something for everyone. And don’t worry! Tselia Coffee has big plans in store for the future, including kombucha, teas, and even beers on tap. Imagine sipping on a cold brew while surrounded by the sweet scent of roasted coffee!
In an effort to support local businesses, Tselia Coffee is looking to source its coffee beans from Ally Coffee, a notable company headquartered right here in Greenville. To roast these high-quality beans, the café will be using a six-pound machine from San Franciscan Roaster Co., known for its exceptional roasting capabilities. Coffee aficionados can look forward to savoring house-roasted beans, custom blends, and delightful single-origin pour-over coffees.
The café is set to be open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays through Sundays, so there’s plenty of time to pop in for your morning fix or an afternoon treat. And just when you think they couldn’t get any cooler, Tselia Coffee has plans for latte art competitions! Picture the creativity and fun bringing the community together around a delicious cup of coffee.
After relocating to Greenville in 2021, the Langlands family rolled up their sleeves and renovated the café space themselves. Their hands-on approach means every corner of Tselia Coffee reflects their dedication and passion for coffee culture. While Matthew is busy overseeing the roasting and coffee creation, other family members handle front-of-house tasks and baking duties, ensuring that every detail is taken care of.
So whether you’re a die-hard coffee lover or just looking for a welcoming spot to relax, Tselia Coffee is your new go-to destination on Main Street in Greenville. Head on over and experience the joy of community, great coffee, and delightful treats!
