Mauldin residents are in for a real treat as the Mauldin Theatre Co. has just revealed its upcoming spectacular season for 2025-26! The announcement came during a lively reveal gala held on January 24, and it’s safe to say, everyone is buzzing with excitement. The theme for this season is appropriately titled A Blank Canvas Awaits: Season of Transformation, hinting at the fantastic variety of shows that await us!
The curtain will rise on August 15, 2025, with a captivating musical adaptation that brings to life the classic story of Moses and Ramses. This production will feature the beloved songs from the 1998 animated film that many grew up cherishing. This musical experience is bound to ignite heartfelt nostalgia while delighting new audiences!
Fast forward to October 9-12, and theater-goers can expect a hilarious treat with the comedy “Nothing’s On,” which gives us a behind-the-scenes look at a group of actors who are struggling to get their play off the ground. Talk about a comedy of errors!
As we hop into November, brace yourself for a thought-provoking musical set in the late 1980s and early 1990s. It tells the story of friends in Manhattan’s East Village, as they face personal and social struggles, tackling the sensitive issues of poverty and drug abuse.
