Greenville, a city where wishes are about to make a more impactful difference than ever before. Thanks to the combined efforts of Make-A-Wish South Carolina and PMC Commercial Interiors, a year-long fundraising campaign is in the works to support children with critical illnesses within the state. The campaign aims to grant at least three life-altering wishes to local children, with the support of corporates, employees, and patrons of these organizations.
The exciting partnership and fundraising campaign will officially commence in September, marked by a series of launch events spread across South Carolina. These events will include a stimulating cocktail reception in Greenville and elaborate luncheons in Columbia and Charleston among others. PMC, will during the course of the year, integrate fundraising components into their pre-planned events. Further, they plan to engage their employees in the cause via offering volunteer opportunities and organizing special wish-fulfilling occasions for local children.
PMC Commercial Interiors has chosen Make-A-Wish South Carolina as their charity partner for the 2024-2025 year, confirming their commitment to this initiative. The campaign is poised to lean on corporate gifts, employee donations, and event fundraising to accomplish the goal of granting wishes for the children.
Misty Farmer, CEO of Make-A-Wish South Carolina, conveyed her delight about the partnership, emphasizing the profound impact this collaboration with PMC Commercial Interiors will have on children facing critical illnesses all across South Carolina. According to Farmer, “Each wish granted is a beacon of hope and strength for these children and their families, and PMC’s support will help us bring more wishes to life in the year ahead”.
Kelly Moorehead, President of PMC Commercial Interiors for the South Carolina Market, shared the same enthusiasm and expressed her pleasure at the opportunity to be associated with Make-A-Wish South Carolina, citing the campaign as a meaningful method to spread joy and happiness to South Carolina families facing challenges. Moorehead shared that “ in collaboration with our partners, clients, family and friends, we are looking forward to working together to create a beautiful experience for the children in our state.“
While the ride may be difficult for some families, the year-long campaign promises to create something special for each child and their family, reaffirming hope and positivity. Through this partnership, Make-A-Wish South Carolina and PMC Commercial Interiors have set a clear example of corporate social responsibility with their shared vision to better the life experiences of children battling critical illnesses.
