Greenville Celebrated Restaurant Kitchen Sync Set to Open Second Location on the Eastside
One of Greenville’s highly-acclaimed restaurants, Kitchen Sync, has announced plans to start construction of a second location. This move aims to bring their much-loved, scratch-made menu to the heart of Greenville’s Eastside.
A Second Home for Kitchen Sync
The announcement was made during the ongoing Restaurant Week, adding to the culinary buzz in the city. The planned second location of Kitchen Sync will be at 2420 Hudson Road, taking over a space previously occupied by Dragon Den in the Brushy Creek Crossing shopping center. This comes eight years after the successful opening of their original establishment on Laurens Road.
“People have been asking us for a long time to open a second location closer to Greer and when this space came available there was no doubt it was perfect for us,” expressed owner Kevin Feeny in a news release.
Addressing a Need in the Community
Feeny pointed out that the new location at the intersection of Hudson Road and Old Spartanburg Road resides in an area with many surrounding neighborhoods, yet not awash with high-quality, casual neighborhood restaurants. A situation, he stated, not too dissimilar to the one on Laurens Road back when Kitchen Sync first opened its doors in June 2016.
With free on-site parking and a “soulful neighborhood vibe,” Kitchen Sync aims to provide a downtown-quality casual dining experience on the Eastside without the hassle. Customers can expect a similar menu to the original Laurens Road location, as well as Kitchen Sync’s unique blended value business model that focuses on serving the community and investing in employees.
A Collaboration with Local Companies
For the design and construction of the new eatery, Kitchen Sync has partnered with local companies – LMG Architects and Cely Construction. Once completed, the 3,500-square-foot restaurant will accommodate approximately 100 guests indoors, with additional space for 25 to 30 outdoor diners. Plans are also in place to add 500 square feet to the interior and build an outdoor patio for dining. An in-house bar will provide seating for an estimated 15 customers.

Kitchen Sync is known for its farm-fresh, scratch-made meals served with a strong emphasis on hospitality. The restaurant is proud to nurture a culture that respects individuality and authenticity, and supports local social enterprises, such as Soteria CDC and Jasmine Kitchen.
