Positive Update on K-9 Injured in the Line of Duty
On Wednesday, the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office provided a positive update on a K-9 injured in the line of duty. On May 13, the Greenville Co. Sheriff’s Office reported that during a deputy-involved shooting, one of their K-9 units was injured. Micky, a K-9 unit who was stabbed multiple times while helping deputies apprehend a heroin trafficker, subsequently had to undergo surgery.

On Wednesday, June 26–over a month after the incident–deputies posted a Facebook video showing Micky running through grass. “We couldn’t be more proud of the progress he continues to make!” the post read. “Just look at how happy he is being able to do what he loves most!
