Artist Joseph Bradley opens Spoonbill Gallery in Greenville

Joseph Bradley, a nationally award-winning artist, has opened Spoonbill Gallery in The Village of West Greenville.

The gallery, located at 1292 Pendleton St., is adjacent to Bradley’s personal studio and gallery, Joseph Bradley Studio. It is run by Kristina White, who has a wealth of experience in set design for film productions, television, and theater, having worked on projects such as “Anchorman II” and the TV series “The Vampire Diaries.”

Spoonbill Gallery aims to be more than just a space to view art, but an immersive experience that allows people to connect with art on a personal level. The gallery features hand-picked artists, selected by Bradley and White, in the hope of inspiring the community.

The gallery will hold its grand opening on April 19 from 6 to 9 p.m. The event promises live music, refreshments, and opportunities to interact with the gallery’s featured artists, including Bess Whittington, Anna Kincaide, Amanda Bennett, Annie Flynn, Michelle Radford, Amy Shekhter, and Melissa Schmidt.

Spoonbill Gallery represents a significant addition to the Greenville art scene, providing a new platform for local and national artists to showcase their work. The gallery’s location in The Village of West Greenville, a vibrant and growing arts district, makes it easily accessible for both residents and visitors.

Joseph Bradley himself is an accomplished artist, well-known for his unique and captivating style. His work has been recognized with numerous awards and has been exhibited in galleries across the country. Bradley’s personal studio and gallery, Joseph Bradley Studio, has already become a popular destination for art enthusiasts in Greenville.

With the opening of Spoonbill Gallery, Bradley hopes to further contribute to the cultural growth of the city and provide a space for artists to thrive.

The Greenville community has long been a supporter of the arts, with a thriving arts scene and a strong network of galleries and studios. The opening of Spoonbill Gallery adds to this vibrant mix and provides another avenue for residents and visitors to engage with the artistic talents of the city.
