InvestiNet Launches Poe Mill Music Initiative for Underserved Youth in Greenville

InvestiNet, a full-service collections network, is launching Poe Mill Music, an initiative focused on providing musical education opportunities for underserved and at-risk youth in Greenville. Poe Mill Music will offer access to musical instrument instruction, recording facilities, and live music production within InvestiNet’s warehouse space in the Poe Mill neighborhood.

The studio at Poe Mill Music will be equipped with state-of-the-art gear and a world-class mixing board, designed by Nashville studio architect Steve Durr. This space aims to foster creativity, generosity, and community engagement in the local music scene, providing a platform for youth to explore their artistic talents and develop music production skills.

In collaboration with non-profit organizations like the Poe Mill Achievement Center, LEAD Collective, and Griggs Church, InvestiNet will offer free studio access to their after-school programs, summer camps, and mentoring initiatives. By integrating music-focused activities, the partnership intends to enrich these programs and empower youth through music.

Brice Smith, CEO of InvestiNet, expressed the company’s dedication to being a community resource by leveraging the power of music to create positive experiences for individuals. The establishment of Poe Mill Music reflects this commitment, aiming to uncover hidden talents, ignite new passions, and provide a creative outlet for all involved.

Through partnerships with local musicians and music professionals, InvestiNet is building a musician co-op to facilitate instruction in musical instruments, recording, and live music production for underserved youth. In exchange for their contributions, these individuals will receive access to free studio and practice facilities, fostering a spirit of collaboration and mentorship.

In addition to the studio space, Poe Mill Music will house a podcast studio and a live music venue, offering opportunities for local podcasters to record and for community events, music festivals, and fundraisers to be hosted. This multi-functional space aims to become a center for creativity, learning, and celebration through the universal language of music.

InvestiNet’s history of community involvement, exemplified by previous initiatives like the Blank Canvas Mural Company partnership, underscores their commitment to leveraging music to strengthen community bonds and promote creativity. With Poe Mill Music, the company seeks to build upon these foundations and create a dynamic space where individuals can learn, connect, and thrive through the transformative power of music.
