Exciting Developments and New Ventures Transform Southern Greenville County

Exciting Developments in Southern Greenville County!

Greenville County is buzzing with excitement as construction kicks off for a brand new industrial park! With a whopping budget of $23 million, the project is named SouthPoint Commerce Center, and it’s set to transform the area with state-of-the-art facilities. Imagine six sprawling buildings ranging from 15,000 to 80,000 square feet designed for a mix of warehouse and flex space – that’s right, folks, plenty of room for businesses to thrive!

Location, Location, Location!

The SouthPoint Commerce Center will grace 25 acres of prime real estate near the South Carolina Technology and Aviation Center, specifically at 812 and 820 Antioch Church Road. This strategic location is expected to boost local employment and attract even more businesses seeking to set up shop in our lovely Greenville County.

Just this past September, Boyett Properties Inc., a Greenville-based real estate developer, officially broke ground on the project. Joining forces on this ambitious endeavor are notable players like KEEL Concepts, CBRE, The Pentreath Co., and SeamonWhiteside. All hands are on deck to make this project a resounding success!

Phased Construction Ahead!

Construction will unfold in phases, with the first set of buildings expected to make their debut in April 2025. The entire undertaking is projected to take anywhere from 18 months to two years. Residents can look forward to a bustling industrial scene, which promises to inject more vitality into the local economy.

New Dining Delight in Town!

Italian restaurant named Tavola has opened its doors at BridgeWay Station as of September 24. This exciting venture is the latest creation by the popular restaurant group Table 301, marking their first move outside of downtown Greenville. Guests are in for a treat as they can dive into authentic Italian fare, with must-try specialties like made-from-scratch pasta, succulent steaks, and fresh seafood!

Culinary Talent at Work!

The scrumptious menu is crafted under the watchful eyes of talented chefs Beau Owens and Troy Arnold. Ready for dinner? Tavola is open from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday, located at 620 BridgeWay Blvd., Simpsonville. Make sure to gather your friends and family for a delightful meal!

Tech Upgrades on the Horizon!

In tech news, the Mauldin City Council has taken a big step forward by giving the green light on a franchise agreement with Ripple Fiber. This Charlotte-based internet provider sets its sights on enhancing connectivity for residents in the Carriage Run neighborhood situated off Holland Road.

Ripple Fiber is on a mission to focus on underserved areas, ensuring reliable internet access where it’s needed most! What’s more, they are also expanding their services into Greenville and Simpsonville, bringing an upgrade to local internet options!

AFC Urgent Care Gets Accredited!

On the health front, a fantastic achievement has come from AFC Urgent Care Bon Secours, which has proudly received the Urgent Care Association Accreditation designation this October. Covering 17 urgent care centers across the Upstate, including those in Greenville, Mauldin, Simpsonville, and Greenwood, they’ve met the rigorous standards set by the UCA.

Quality and Care!

This eager team qualified for the accreditation through strict adherence to guidelines in governance, human resources, patient care processes, quality improvement, physical environment, and patient privacy, rights, and responsibilities. The accreditation is a mark of excellence and is awarded every three years.

It’s indeed an exciting time in Southern Greenville County as we see developments that not only promise growth but also enhance our community life. Stay tuned for more updates and make sure to check out the new local spots!
