Mark your calendars, folks! The Holiday Fair & Kringle Village is coming to town this December and it promises to be one for the books. Taking place from December 5-7 at the fabulous Greenville Convention Center, this event is a mashup of two beloved holiday celebrations that will have everyone buzzing with excitement!
For over 54 years, the Holiday Fair has been a cherished tradition, while the Rotary Club of Greenville’s Kringle Village has been a fantastic way to support local charities through festive fun. Together, they’re brewing up a *supersized holiday extravaganza* that you won’t want to miss!
General admission tickets are just $10 each, and guess what? That ticket includes a visit with the jolly big guy himself—Santa! Get ready to dive into a world filled with holiday cheer, shopping, a magical carousel, a snowball arena, and a lineup of special daily events. Food and drinks will be available for purchase, making this the ultimate holiday outing for families.
And don’t worry, seniors are also in luck with discounted tickets at just $9 each, and families of four can snag a sweet deal with a $36 family pack. You can grab your tickets and check out all the juicy details at kringleholidayvillage.com.
Calling all shopping aficionados! You’ll be thrilled to know there are over 400 vendor booths at the Holiday Fair Market. Imagine strolling through an enormous collection of art, apparel, crafts, food, and even pet supplies. There’s something for everyone, including a treasure trove of creativity from our small business community!
In addition to shopping, families can indulge in an abundance of fun at Kringle Village! According to Marty Elliott, the mastermind behind this year’s event, there’s so much planned, including an enchanted tea party where everyone can dress up in their finest holiday attire. It’s a perfect opportunity for a magical experience that spans generations!
Elliott promises an immersive weekend with tons of activities like a movie night featuring the classic holiday film, Elf, on December 6 at 7 p.m. Families can enjoy inflatables, crafts, and the much-anticipated epic snowball fight arena. Yes, you read that right! Imagine hurling over 3,000 snowballs indoors with your loved ones—what a sight that will be!
As if that’s not enough, Santa will be in attendance every day, ready to meet the little ones. Stephanie Goodale, Director of Sales and Marketing, shared the excitement, mentioning that guests can snap their own photos with Santa—an absolute win for those looking to save a little money on holiday photography.
On December 7, you won’t want to miss the chance for your kiddos to shine in the Little Miss Kringle pageant. Open to ages 8 and under, they’ll compete in three age divisions: Baby Miss Kringle, Little Miss Kringle, and Miss Kringle. Every participant gets a trophy, while the winners will walk away adorned with a tiara and sash!
As you enjoy the festivities, know that your participation supports some fantastic causes. The Rotary Club is committed to raising funds for various programs at the local level, such as supporting Alexander Elementary School. From food boxes to reading programs, your fun-filled day translates into real help for those in need within the community.
So gather your friends and family and head to Greenville for the Holiday Fair & Kringle Village! It’s an event bursting with fun, festivities, and a splash of holiday magic that everyone can enjoy. Don’t miss out on the winter escape happening all under one roof!
