Greer Approves Fiber Internet Expansion: City Council Notes

Franchise Agreement with Lumos Fiber of South Carolina

The city council of Greer, South Carolina has given final approval to a franchise agreement with Lumos Fiber of South Carolina LLC. • Updating where vehicle sales and rentals are allowed and restricting them to more auto-oriented zoning districts
• Updating allowances for electronic message signs
• Removing landscaping requirements for monument signs
• Adding spacing requirements for plantings
