Hey there, Greenville! It looks like we’re in for a bit of a dreary night as some nuisance wet weather is expected to hang around. If you’ve got plans tonight, don’t forget your umbrella because a mix of drizzle, light showers, and even patchy fog is going to linger into the early hours. This just might call for hitting that snooze button a couple of extra times in the morning, especially with a soggy commute ahead!
As we transition into Monday morning, temperatures will be hanging around the low to mid-50s. Thankfully, winds are expected to be calm, so while it may feel a little damp, it won’t be too breezy out there. But you know how it is—driving in fog or rain can be tricky, so maybe plan to set your alarm a tad earlier to make sure you have enough time to get where you need to be safely!
Now, here’s where things get exciting! On Veterans Day, a big change is on the horizon. The morning showers and fog are expected to clear out quickly, making room for some much-needed sunshine. Can we get a cheer for that? ☀️ By midday, most of the area will enjoy mostly sunny skies, and temperatures will bounce back into the low to mid-70s. How’s that for a mood booster?
It’s the perfect day to take a stroll outside or even fire up the grill, with a lovely west-southwesterly breeze blowing gently at 5-10 mph. Don’t forget to take a moment to appreciate those who have served our country while you enjoy the beauty of the day!
As much as we love the warm weather, it looks like Tuesday and Wednesday will see a bit of a cooldown. On Tuesday, highs are expected to dip to the upper 60s, reaching around 70 degrees, so grab your light jacket! Wednesday will be even cooler with highs settling in the upper 50s and low 60s.
Keep your rain gear handy because Thursday rolls in with our next chance for showers as a new cold front makes its way through the region. Highs will cling to the upper 50s and low 60s during this rainy spell. But keep your chin up, as we’ll be back with brighter days ahead by Friday through the weekend! Expect those temperatures to climb back up into the middle and upper 60s with plenty of increased sunshine to enjoy.
So, whether you’re bundling up for a chilly day, splashing through puddles, or basking in the sun, remember to stay prepared for a bit of everything this week in Greenville. Nature loves to keep us on our toes, after all! Wishing everyone a safe and happy Veterans Day, filled with sunshine and gratitude.
