Greenville Implements New Email System for Storm Debris Cleanup Efforts

Greenville Launches New Email for Storm Debris Cleanup!

Hey there, Greenville residents! We know that the recent storms have left a bit of a mess around town, but don’t fret! The City of Greenville is here to help with a new and easy way for you to report any debris that needs to be cleaned up. Introducing their new email address, cleanup@greenvillenc.gov, dedicated to tracking and addressing storm debris in our lovely city!

Your Voice Matters!

If you spot a pile of vegetative debris in front of a home or on the streets, simply shoot them an email! The city wants to ensure that no debris goes unnoticed within Greenville city limits. This is especially important since some of us might see debris that others overlook.

When you write to them, just remember to include the following details in your email:

  • Your location – It’s crucial to specify where the debris is located!
  • Description of the debris – Helps them understand what you’re referring to.

IMPORTANT: This email address is exclusively for concerns within the City of Greenville. If you’re living in the county, please refer to the county’s debris removal schedule instead. The city wants to keep everything organized and smooth for all residents!

When Will the Cleanup Happen?

The Public Works crews and contractors are hard at work collecting storm debris through Wednesday, November 27. After that, they’ll take a *short break* to regroup before making a FINAL pass starting on Monday, December 9. So, make sure to get those stumps out in the right of way, because that’s where they’ll be picking them up!

The city officials appreciate everyone’s patience during this cleanup process. They know it can be a hassle to see piles of debris lingering around, but with your help, they can work faster and more efficiently to restore our beautiful city!

Stay Informed!

For more information about the debris cleanup, don’t forget to visit the City of Greenville’s official website. They’ll keep you updated on the latest news and schedules, so you can stay in the loop and know what to expect.

Let’s all do our part to keep Greenville looking great! We’re all in this together, and every little bit of communication helps. So keep your eyes peeled for debris, and don’t hesitate to reach out using the new email address!

If you have any questions about the process or need clarification, the city is more than willing to help out. Just send them an email, and they’ll get back to you as soon as they can.

In Summary!

1. New email address for debris reporting: cleanup@greenvillenc.gov
2. Reporting is ONLY for Greenville city limits – county residents refer to their own schedule.
3. Debris collection until November 27, then a break, before the final pass starting December 9!
4. Stay informed through the city’s website.

So, unfortunately, while those storm clouds may have rolled in, good communication and teamwork can help clear our streets and keep them looking welcoming for everyone! Happy cleanup, Greenville!
