The Greenville Police Department arrested a domestic assault suspect on Tuesday after they attempted to flee. Officers report responding to a domestic assault on Laurens Road and Lenox when they spotted the suspect’s vehicle between Laurens Road and East Washington.
Officers attempted a traffic stop, but the suspect fled, colliding with a bridge a short distance away, officers say. They were able to apprehend the suspect following the collision.
Police say they will be releasing the suspect’s identity soon.
