Perfect Buns Burgers Returns with Exciting New Offerings
The much-loved Perfect Buns burger window in downtown Greenville is back just in time for spring. After a brief offseason hiatus, the burger joint is reopening with a bang, introducing updated menu offerings and extended hours to cater to its loyal customers.
The Carolina Bagel Burger and Chicken & Waffles Stackwich are two new additions sure to tantalize taste buds. The Carolina Bagel Burger features pimento cheese, fried green tomatoes, and Carolina barbecue sauce sandwiched between an onion bagel. On the other hand, the Chicken & Waffles Stackwich offers a twist on brunch flavors by replacing the bun with a Belgian sugar waffle filled with fried chicken, caramelized onions, and maple crema.
Additionally, Perfect Buns is rolling out happy hour deals, now offering a complimentary order of fries with beer or wine purchases. The burger window, located in Camperdown Plaza, will be open Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Methodical Brings Back Bake Room with a Twist
Missing the delectable morning buns from Bake Room? Here’s some good news – Methodical Coffee has resurrected the bakery and will be reopening it at The Commons near Unity Park. In a bid to make the Bake Room’s offerings more accessible, items from the bakery will now be available at all three Methodical locations.
While an official reopening date is yet to be announced, patrons can look forward to indulging in the signature treats that made Bake Room a favorite among locals.
Robot Server Joins the Team at Roost Restaurant
Roost Restaurant is stepping into the future with the addition of a robot server to assist its human staff. The robot, known for its unique feature of “singing” happy birthday, aims to streamline service and enhance the dining experience for guests.

Sad news for barbecue lovers, as Smoqued BBQ has officially closed its doors at 110 E. Curtis St. in Simpsonville. The space’s future remains uncertain, with no word yet on what might take its place.
In other updates, Greer’s Cartwright Food Hall will soon welcome a new vendor in the spot previously occupied by Mi Irie. While the new vendor is currently a mystery, Mi Irie has announced plans to continue serving its Jamaican fare through a food truck, keeping the flavors alive for loyal fans.
