Greenville High School Students Enjoy Visit from K-9 Scooby
Greenville, S.C. – Students in a special education class at Greenville High School had a delightful surprise when they were visited by K-9 Scooby from the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office. The event, which took place recently, brought smiles to the faces of many young students as they interacted with the friendly golden retriever.
During the visit, the students were seen grinning ear to ear as they pet Scooby and received their own sheriff’s badges. It is clear that the kids truly enjoyed the visit and the interaction with Scooby.
Scooby’s Role Beyond Making Friends
While K-9 Scooby is known for his friendly demeanor, he has an important job as well. He is currently in training to detect electronic devices, helping to protect children from the dangers of cybercrimes. Scooby was generously donated to the sheriff’s office by Defenders for Children, an organization committed to child safety.
