Meet the All-Greenville High School Girls Basketball Team for the 2023-24 Season
The city of Greenville has seen some incredible talents on the high school girls basketball courts this season. Let’s take a closer look at the All-Greenville team and the standout player of the year.
Player of the Year
Quinasia Abercrombie, representing Wade Hampton, has been named the player of the year for the 2023-24 season. The senior standout was not only selected as the Class AAAA state player of the year for the second consecutive season, but she also showcased her skills in the playoffs with exceptional performances.
In just two playoff games following her state player of the year recognition, Abercrombie recorded a remarkable 56 points, 41 rebounds, and 12 assists. Throughout the season, she averaged 23 points and 16 rebounds, hitting career milestones with 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds. Abercrombie played a key role in Wade Hampton’s 17-9 record, including a 6-2 standing in Region 2.
First Team
Kyndal Haroski
Kyndal Haroski from Riverside High School stood out as a key player, leading her team to the Class AAAA state championship. The sophomore guard averaged 17.1 points per game and played a crucial role in Riverside’s postseason success, including an impressive performance in the title game.
Anyah Henderson
Anyah Henderson from Blue Ridge High School demonstrated her all-around skills on the court, averaging 6.5 assists per game, the highest in the state according to Max Preps. Henderson also led her team in rebounds (6.0) and steals (4.1) while contributing 12.9 points per game.
Zikira Henderson
Zikira Henderson, the senior standout from Blue Ridge High School, led her team in scoring with an impressive 17.4 points per game. She also made a mark from beyond the arc, recording the second-most 3-pointers in the state (84). Alongside her sister Anyah, Zikira helped Blue Ridge to a 22-6 record, including a strong 7-1 performance in Region 1-AAA.
Zara Leamon
Zara Leamon of Mauldin High School took on the lead scoring role for the defending Class AAAAA state champion team. The sophomore guard averaged 21.2 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 3.1 steals per game, showcasing her dynamic skills on both ends of the court as Mauldin finished with a 17-2 record, including a perfect 8-0 in Region 1.
