As you stroll through downtown Greenville, you’ll be mesmerized by 88 spectacularly decorated trees lining the entranceway of the Courtyard Marriott Downtown and the Hyatt Regency Greenville. Each tree is adorned with vibrant lights, creative decorations, and festive flair, showcasing the talents and generosity of local businesses, schools, and individual sponsors.
Giving Back in Style
The Festival of Trees isn’t just about beautiful decorations. Over the years, the sponsorships have raised millions of dollars that have directly benefitted the health system’s various programs and departments. It’s truly a win-win! Notable beneficiaries include Project SEARCH, the Level II Special Care Nursery at St. Francis Eastside Hospital, and Open Arms Hospice.
This year, the event is particularly special as it supports the creation of a new Graduate Medical Education program. This initiative comes at a crucial time, addressing the growing need for medical professionals in primary care. The program aims to foster a fully integrated, interactive, and state-of-the-art model for medical education – ensuring our community has access to top-notch healthcare now and in the future.
