Greenville County Schools Close for the Week Following Helene
Greenville, S.C. – Greenville County Schools have announced they will remain closed for the rest of the week as a result of the significant impacts from Storm Helene. Schools will be closed from today until Friday, October 4, as officials assess the situation in the area.
Reasons for Closure
The school district has stated that the decision to close schools stems from unstable power conditions and unsafe transportation routes.
