Greenville County School Board Approves Replacement Plan for Northwest Middle School

Travelers Rest, S.C. — A significant change is on the horizon for Northwest Middle School as the Greenville County School Board approved a plan to replace the current facility during a meeting on Tuesday night. This decision comes as part of a larger strategy to enhance educational spaces within the district.

The board voted to purchase around 30 acres of land for the new school campus, which will be located off Highway 25 near Belvue Road. Currently, Northwest Middle School has been serving students since its original construction in 1973, and despite having undergone several renovations, the building will soon be replaced for the needs of today’s students.
