Greenville County Deputies Provide Update on Injured K9 Officer

GREENVILLE, S.C.

The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office provided an update on the K9 officer who was injured in a stabbing on Monday. According to the Sheriff’s Office Facebook post, K9 Officer Micky has received excellent medical care from the veterinary team. He is expected to be leaving the veterinarian hospital within three to five days to begin his rehabilitation.

He is a good boy and we appreciate the community’s support and love!” the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office stated.

K9 Officer Micky was injured in the line of duty on Monday, May 13, while deputies were trying to serve a warrant near Wade Hampton Boulevard.
