The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office recently took action to seize multiple dirt bikes and ATVs after individuals were spotted driving recklessly in the area. The incident occurred on White Horse Road Extension and Geer Highway, where concerned citizens reported multiple drivers engaging in dangerous behavior such as weaving in and out of traffic and performing wheelies.
Upon receiving the reports of reckless driving, deputies quickly responded to the scene. Upon arrival, they observed a group of individuals operating dirt bikes and ATVs in an extremely reckless manner. Despite attempts to pull over the drivers, they reportedly refused to stop and continued to evade law enforcement.
Following a pursuit, deputies were able to apprehend the suspects at various locations. As a result of the incident, multiple individuals were taken into custody, and law enforcement confiscated a total of eight dirt bikes and ATVs.
Authorities confirmed that the suspects involved in the incident were from various locations along the East Coast. Additionally, the individuals reportedly informed deputies that they target areas where they believe law enforcement will not pursue them if they attempt to flee.
The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate the incident and gather more information. Citizens are urged to stay updated as more details emerge regarding the reckless driving episode and the individuals involved.
