Greenville: Music by the Lake Returns to Furman for the Summer
The “Sounds of Summer” concert series is back at Furman University and features lakeside concerts from now until August 1.
The vibrant city of Greenville is gearing up for a summer filled with music, as the beloved “Sounds of Summer” concert series returns to Furman University. The series, which has been a 50-year tradition, promises a lineup of lakeside concerts that will delight music enthusiasts of all ages.
The kickoff of this year’s series is scheduled for Thursday, May 30, inviting attendees to bring their chairs or picnic blankets and settle in for an evening of musical magic. The concerts will take place every Thursday at 7:30 p.m., come rain or shine. In case of inclement weather, the performances will be moved indoors to the McAlister Auditorium.
