Kevin Landmesser, the interim President and CEO of Greenville Area Development Corp. (GADC), has announced his retirement after a successful 23-year career that saw tremendous economic growth in Greenville County. Under his stewardship, Greenville County procured over 10,000 jobs and attracted $4.2 billion in capital investments. Landmesser’s tenure also saw the successful management of key projects for companies such as Lockheed Martin, Michelin, Kiyatec, GE Power, Mitsubishi Polyester Film, and Hubbell (now Current).
Leadership Greenville, a leadership development initiative of the Greenville Chamber, has announced the successful completion of its Class 50 Service projects. Approximately $43,000 was raised for Rebuild Upstate and YouthBASE, demonstrating the program’s commitment to addressing pressing community needs. The funds will be used to facilitate home repairs, revitalise recreational facilities and provide essential skills training to local students in need.
A new real estate offering has been announced by The Cliffs at Keowee Falls. Twelve secluded homesites called Canebrake are being offered for sale, nestled on the shores of Lake Keowee. Residents at The Cliffs will have exclusive access to over 20 miles of waterfront and a range of community amenities. The site options available range from under an acre to nearly four acres; each investor is allowed personal discretion in choosing a builder to construct a custom home to their liking within the community.
